The casing on this CarboAir Filter has been made using the highest quality industrial galvanised steel with the finest mesh. This means an internal nylon mesh is not needed which can slow air flow.
The filter mesh is 55.5% open for the best air flow through the filter enabling a thicker carbon bed to be used than competitors.
The carbon used has been tailor-made for CarboAir to extract odour from air and work in unison with the fine zinc mesh body of the filter. It is produced to very high standards in Europe, unlike Chinese filters which often contain cheaper blends and risk water contamination during shipping.
Being produced in the EU enables better quality control. (It is produced to EN12915 which means it is pure enough to be used in food and drink applications.)The size and depth of the filter has been specially designed to provide the correct contact between the contaminated air and carbon.

The RVK fan series is designed specifically for use with in-line with ducting. The casing is manufactured from PA6 fibreglass reinforced plastic which offers minimal air leakage and a tough outer casing. Humid room applications of the fan are possible, thanks to the airtight casing and IP44 rated terminal box.
The fans have backward-curved blades and external rotor motors. The mounting clamp facilitates easy installation and removal, and prevents the transfer of vibration to the duct or mounting surface.
