Green Hornet Work Light

Green LED lights are used within a grow room so that you can still work when the lights are off and the plants are in the flowering cycle.

If the hours of light within a certain spectrum that hit the chlorophyll receptors on the leaves of a plant are reduced, a hormone called florigen is produced. A plant will also produce a another hormone called antiflorigen which inhibits flowering and it is the ratio of these 2 hormones that triggers the plant into flowering or not.

If the plant is interrupted during its dark hours in the flowering stage with a non green light the antiflorigen is increased, the ratio of the 2 hormones is altered and flowering will decrease or may even stop.

Any changes in the ratios between florigen and antiflorigen is stressful for the plant and can cause the plant to swap from female to male or vice versa. This can result in your plant turning into a Hermaphrodite.

This is why the Green Hornet LED work light is a must for anyone entering their grow room during the dark hours.
